For the last month my just-turned-12-year-old son has been using the MBTP level 9-11 online curriculum. We both LOVE your program! Also, my son has produced the best written work EVER and we've both really enjoyed the readings, discussions, and learning activities. I think he's learned more in the last few weeks with MBTP than he's learned in the last two years using a rigorous classical unit study curriculum. Furthermore, my son, who has always hated doing "seat work" and finds writing excruciatingly difficult, is now ASKING every morning for everyone else to get off the computer so he can do his MBTP lessons INDEPENDENTLY! Astoundingly, he has completed the Language Arts and Social Studies written study pages without complaint and composed many different poems for his Poetry Unit. Integrating the writing assignments, activities, and projects with the correlated readings has allowed him to grow as a learner and really helped him to understand the material and make connections across the curriculum. And I've been able for the first time to accurately evaluate his comprehension and skills because he's doing most of the work by himself. Best of all, he is finding great joy in his studies and is very proud of his newly discovered abilities. He has already decided that MBPT is the curriculum he wants to use for the next three years of middle school and he has told me, "I'm so happy I get to use this fun curriculum that really makes me think!" I am absolutely stunned by his transformation!

Before Moving Beyond the Page, everyday was a struggle with school. My girls would complain, and whine. During school it would be worse, with lots of tears. Now, we are using Moving Beyond the Page, and you would think I have different children. They are happy to start school. They love their assignments. School is the best part of their day. I love how easy it is to use. We went with the online curriculum, and it has been great. Thanks so much for a great curriculum!!

My son is 6 years old and we have just finished the first unit in Moving Beyond the Page. This curriculum has been such a blessing to our school experience. Last year we struggled through many tears and fits to make it through a typical school day. I was frustrated and wondering how I was going to make it through the next twelve years of this. This has all changed thanks to Moving Beyond the Page. My son and I not just make it through the day without tears, but we are loving it! My son has learned so much and I have really enjoyed the fun and exciting conversations that have been born from the curriculum topics. We are now laughing and learning together each day, bring us closer together through school, rather than something we just have to make it through. My son even thanks God in his prayers daily for his fun school days. What a blessing this has been. Thank you for a bright new start to my child's education. I would recommend this curriculum to all kids, gifted or not. All children could really benefit from the down to earth, real-life education that Moving Beyond the Page provides. I am looking forward to the many years of school ahead.

Moving Beyond the Page has made our first year of homeschooling more than I ever thought it would be. My oldest daughter would "act up" in school and when I asked her in front of her kindergarten teacher why, she answered, "Mom, I'm bored!" Although her teachers considered her "gifted", this same scenario played out in first and second grade until finally with a lot of prayer I decided to homeschool. I attended last year's CHEA conference and I believe the Lord led me to Kim's workshop for teaching gifted children. I cried in that workshop because she was describing my child to a tee. My two oldest daughters have been fully engaged in this curriculum, as have I. We have discovered a love for reading due to Kim's insightful selection of literature. My oldest daughter fell in love with Mr. Ocax in "Poppy" and my younger daughter who was struggling to read at the beggining of the year is fluently reading. Even my 1 year loves to grab a book and her chubby pencils and flip the pages while we homeschool. Thank you Kim for all your creativity!

Thank you so much for developing this curriculum! My daughter (who is very much a global thinker) used to say that if she could have one wish it would be to love school. I have tried just about everything in the past five years to find a way to interest her in school work, but nothing worked. She usually had a good attitude and was willing to try, but nothing grabbed her. Now,after a month and a half of Moving Beyond the Page, she says she loves school! She even likes the parts she used to hate. This program understands global thinkers much better than the other curricula I have tried, and it gives her a chance to use her unique gifts.

We have started using the Interdependence package and we are having a great time at it. My 10 year old daughter asks to do it just about every day, and I love how organized and easy to get into. We're not traditional homeschoolers, and tend to be very in-the-moment, but we have already pulled the books off the shelf several times when we're ready for "projects"! Also, it is so easy to use between different ages: my 10 year old and 5 year old want to be a part of each other's projects, and each one will get right into what we're doing. I don't have to do anything separate, as they both enjoy both curricullum!

My daughter and I have enjoyed Moving Beyond the Page so much. I just knew in my heart there was a better way to teach her. She is smart and bright. The thought of having her sit in a classroom all day was killing me. She hates to do worksheets. This couldn't be more perfect.
